We’ve been working as private French tutors since 2013 and we’ve worked with many students who have a pretty good understanding of “textbook French”, but most of these students could hardly use what they’ve learned in a practical way.
We created Street French to give people the tools they need to speak French proficiently.

Meet the team
Charlie has a Bachelor's degree in French and Francophone Studies and a Masters degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from Middlebury College. He has been working as a private French teacher since 2013.
He lives in Paris, where he finished a study abroad program at The Sorbonne in 2017.
Charlie created StreetFrench.org to give people the tools they need to speak French like native speakers.
Serena is a flutist and creative professional based in Paris.
She is the current graphic designer for the Street French e-courses, as well as the social media and blog posts. She is also currently undergoing the process of learning French :)
